Radius
Type design
2022
Radius is a typeface designed for headlines or short text. It is composed with extremely short ascenders and descenders in order to favour a high density (reduced line spacing). Its geometric design, with very few optical corrections, is directly inspired by Lubalin's Avant Garde Gothic (1970), although its rhythm is distinctly different. It is available in three weights, light, regular and bold.
Radius was initially created for a visual identity project within Graphéine. It was created with the precious contribution of Eliott Amblard for the production and programming.
